Rare Longines Lindbergh Hour Angle Watch with Stainless Steel Case, Original Dials, Rotating Bezel and Longines Swiss Made Movement. Triple Signed Longines on the Dial, Case and Movement. The Lindbergh Hour Angle Watch was designed by Col. Charles A. Lindbergh as a Navigational Aid for Pilots for Use in Military or Civilian Applications. Used in Conjunction with a Sextant, a Nautical Almanac and a Radio set for Receiving the Time Signal, it Made Possible the Rapid Determination of the Greenwich Hour Angle, i.e., Longitude.

Beautiful Original Finish Dials. Outer Dial has Roman Numeral Hours and 180 Degree Markings. Signed Longines, Swiss. Inner Dial Rotates by Using the Crown at 2:00. Original Blue Steel Hands. Dial Shows Some Patina Which Adds to It’s Vintage Look.
