William Piper is Credited with Popularizing Airplanes as a Method of Transportation and as a Hobby. What is Significant about the Rear Inscription is the date and the Type of Aircraft Depicted. In 1956 the First Prototype of the “Piper Comanche” was Developed and this is also the Model Plane Engraved on the Rear of the Watch.

Original Finish Two Tone Dial with Gold Hour Markers and Matching Gold Hands. Dial Signed Ebel, Automatic and Swiss. Lightly Aged Original Dial.

Movement:

High Grade, Swiss Made, 17 Jewel, Full Rotor Automatic Movement Adjusted to 5 Positions. Recently Cleaned by www.farfo.com Ebel Watch Repair.
