This is a very unusual watch.  Someone went through a great deal of effort to convert a Movado Ermeto triple date moonphase watch into a solid 18k gold wristwatch.  This is a heavy watch for its size, weighing 43 grams and measuring approximately 23mm square by 42mm tall.  This watch has been serviced and is in excellent running condition.

Description

Case:

A quality 18K yellow gold case was custom made for this dial and movement,.  There are quickset pushers at the top and bottom for the moonphase, date and month settings.  The watch has long, down-turned angled lugs, and feels heavy for its size.  Inside the case back is signed Movdo Factories, Switzerland, Fabrication Suisse plus the Movado logo and solid gold hallmarks are present.

Dial:

Original two-tone triple date moonphase dial with nice patina.  From the Ermeto watch, there are Day, month and moonphase apertures. Blue perimeter date chapter.  Red lollipop date hand. Signed Movado, Swizerland.

Movement:

Movado 17 Jewel Swiss Made Movado caliber 473 manual wind movement signed Movado Factories.
