Description

Wittnauer 3256 Case:

Solid Stainless Steel Screwback Case with Round Pushers. Top Pusher Starts and Stops the Chronograph. Bottom Pusher Resets the Counters to Zero. Original Wittnauer “W” Signed Winding Crown. The Case is  Unpolished with Sharp Contours and Still Shows the Original Factory Finish. On the Outside is an Inscription That Dates This watch to Christmas of 1965.  The Case is Signed Inside Wittnauer Watch Co, Inc., Swiss.

Original Dial:

Original Silver Dial With Attached Hour Markers and Aged Luminous Filled Hands. Each Hour Marker Has an Aged Round Luminous Plot, with the Exception of the 12 and 6 Plots, Which Are Triangle Shaped.  This Classic 60s Chronograph Features a Constant Seconds Register at 9:00 and a 30 Minute Register at 3:00.  There Are Multi-Color Outer Tachymeter/Telemeter Scales in Blue and Red Plus a Black 1/5 Seconds Track. The Dial is Signed Wittnauer and Swiss Below the 6:00 Position.

Powered by a Professionally Cleaned and Ready to Wear Wittnauer Model 14W, Manual Wind Chronograph Movement, Based on the Venus 188.  This Finely Crafted 17 Jewel Machine is an Excellent Runner and Ready for Years of Reliable Operation.  The Movement is Signed Wittnauer Watch Co, Inc, Swiss.
