Large 36mm Solid Stainless Steel case with long down-turned lugs. The three piece snapback case is signed inside Universal Geneve with the Universal Geneve logo. The serial number on the back dates the watch to approximately 1945. The case reference is 22283. On the right side of the case, flat, rectangle pushers control the chronograph. The top pusher starts and stops the chronograph. The bottom pusher resets all counters to zero. There are recessed pushers on the left side of the case that are used to quickset the month, date and moonphase.
The original dial has been refinished with aged luminous numbers and luminous filled blued steel sword hands. The top register features a moonphase aperture and a red date hand. The 9:00 register is for constant seconds. The 3:00 register counts to 30 minutes and the 6:00 register counts to 12 hours. The day and month apertures are above center. The day, date and moonphase automatically advance daily. The center chronograph hand uses the perimeter 1/5 second chapter. The dial is signed Universal Geneve, Tri Compax and Swiss Made.
