Description

Case:

Unpolished solid stainless steel case with early waterproofing design. The case back houses the movement and crystal as a single assembly that pushes up into the case from below.  The crown uses a split stem to detach for service.   The case is signed on the back, Octo Watch Co, Reserved, Swiss and Brevet + 217284 which is likely the patent number of the press through case.

Dial:

Beautiful dial design, with white boarder and red ring containing aged creamy luminous roman numerals.  The fancy hour hand is very unique. There is an outer minutes/seconds track. The dial is Signed Octo, Swiss.

Movement:

Swiss Made, seventeen jewel, manual wind movement is signed Octo.  The balance is stamped with the Octo Swiss export Code QOG.
