Features:

World War II Minerva German Military Watch with Original Dial/Hands, 34mm DH Stainless Steel Case and 17 Jewel Manual Wind Movement.  This type of military watch came with one of two different movements:  The Minerva Cal. 12, or the Lavina Caliber 105.  Both would have been customized for the application.  The cases would also differ, some in all stainless steel (Boden Edelstahl) and others in nickel chrome.  Some with screw-backs, others with bayonet backs.  The Lavina model cases would also have a dust cover instead of a movement ring, plus “LL” stamped inside the case back, as this stainless steel screw-back does.

Description

Case:

34mm Solid Stainless Steel Screw-back case with dust cover to protect the movement.  The watch has a German military watch designation serial number, with DH Meaning Deutsches Heer (German Army) or Diestuhr Heer (Service Watch, Army).  The case has a stepped bezel and fixed lug pins.

Dial:

Original Black Gilt Sub-Seconds Dial with Aged Luminous Hour markers and Matching Luminous Filled Hands.  Dial Signed Minerva.

Movement:

This 17 Jewel Lavina Caliber 105 Manual Wind Movement has been serviced and is in Excellent Running Condition. The Movement is Signed Minerva, and Has the Minerva Signature Arrow Logo Under the Balance.
