Rare Vintage Favre Leuba Mono-Rattrapante Chronograph featuring an 18 Jewel Valjoux 84 Movement.  This movement uses the Bovet Mono-Rattrapante Design to Allow the Center Sweep Second Hand to be Paused with the Bottom Pusher to take an Intermediate Reading while the Movement Continues to Record the Event. When the Bottom Pusher is Released the Center Chronograph Hand will Spring Ahead to where it would have been if not paused in order to continue the original recording. Signed Favre Leuba on the dial and Bovet & Freres on the Movement and Case.

Chrome Plated Case with Solid Stainless Steel Back in Very Good Condition. Oval Pushers Control the Chronograph Functions. Top Pusher Starts, Stops and Resets the Chronograph. Bottom Pusher Is Used to Pause the Chronograph. When Released, the Chronograph Will Spring Ahead to It’s Original Recording Time. Signed Bovet Freres & Cie SA.

Dial:

Original Finish Two Tone Dial With Aged Luminous Numbers and Matching Luminous Filled Hands. Tachometer and Telemeter Graduations in Blue and Red. Inner 1/5 Second Graduation. Dial in Excellent + Condition. Dial Signed Favre – Leuba Geneva, Monorattrapante and Swiss Made.

Movement:

Rare Swiss Made Valjoux Caliber 84 Manual Wind 18 Jewel Movement. Based on the Valjoux 22 Ebauche. Signed Bovet Freres & Co, SA, 18 Jewels.
