Circa 1943 A.T.P. (Army Trade Pattern) British World War 2 Military Watch With Original Dial, Broad Arrow Pheon Stainless Steel Screwback Case and Tissot A27 Manual Wind 15 Jewel Movement.
British Forces were supplied 31mm ATP watches during World War 2, beginning in 1939. There were 17 Swiss suppliers of these timepieces, all with 15 jewel movements, from the following brands: Buren, Cortebert, Cyma, Ebel, Enicar, Eterna, Font, Grana, Lemania, Leonidas, Moeris, Reconvillier, Record, Revue, Rotary, Timor, and Unitas. All, including this watch, have fixed lug bars. Most were chrome plated but some had a better quality stainless steel case, as this watch does.
