Very Rare and Collectible Abercrombie & Fitch Seafarer Watch With 2nd Execution Reference 2443 Case.  The Seafarer Was Produced by Heuer for A&F.  This Watch Features its Original Dial, Valjoux 721 Movement and all Stainless Steel Case. In their Early Days, Abercrombie & Fitch Was a Supplier of Rugged Outdoor Gear for Sporting and Exploration. This Watch is Triple Signed Abercrombie & Fitch on the Dial, Case and Movement.

Reference 2443 Case:

Abercrombie & Fitch Seafarer Heuer Reference 2443 Solid Stainless Steel 12 Sided ScrewBack Case Appears Unpolished and in Excellent Condition.  2:00 Pusher Starts, Stops and Resets the Chronograph.  4:00 Pusher Resets All Counters to Zero.  The Seafarer Has A Small Left Side Round Pusher That is Used To Quick-set Advance the Solunar/Tidal Dial.  The Case Back is Signed Abercrombie & Fitch Co, New York, Made in Switzerland.

 

Original Dial:

Original Abercrombie & Fitch Seafarer Cream Colored Dial is Beautifully Aged and Has Vivid Green and Yellow Accents.  A Few Areas of Spotting Can be Seen on the Dial.  Gilt Hour Markers Including 11, 12, 1, 5 and 7 Mixed with Round Hour Dots.   There are Outer Aged Luminous Filled Triangle Markers That Surround the Perimeter of the Dial.  The Original Luminous Filled Hands Have Been Restored.  30 Minute Recorder at 3:00.  12 Hour Recorder at 6:00.  Solunar / Tidal Register at 9:00.  The Dial is Signed Abercrombie & Fitch, Seafarer, Made in Switzerland.

Manual Wind Movement:

Swiss Made, 17 Jewel, Manual Wind Valjoux 721 Movement in Excellent Running Condition. Recently Serviced by www.farfo.com Vintage Watches.  Movement Signed Abercrombie & Fitch Co, Made in Switzerland and AXF (Abercrombie & Fitch Import Code) on the Balance.
