Welsbro / Breitling 765 Features:

This is an early 1940s Breitling made reference 765 chronograph watch sold to, and imported by, The Welsbro Watch Company.  This is the same reference later used by Breitling for their AVI and Co-Pilot model watches in 1953 and later in 1960.  It is always interesting to see how these watches progressed over the years and this watch not only shares a reference number with Breitling 765 AVI Co-Pilot watches, the dial and case back also strongly resemble some Breitling 788 Premier models, similar to this watch sold on Hodinkee here.
